Catching up on November

Before we left for Texas I drove past the university and noticed the changing leaves; the reds were "busting out!" The oranges and yellows were a backdrop for the crimson, carmine and burgundy leaves. It is a gorgeous time of the year here. We'd been looking forward to our trip to Texas this fall for sometime. It was wonderful to be with family for Thanksgiving and the twin's birthday (bonus gift!).

A&E have earned their wings! They enjoyed flying and took it in stride making friends along the way. They are pretty easy going for toddlers. Here's a little bit of video so you can see what I mean. We had non-stop flights and several seats this time so it was even easier for them. We also chose days when the holiday traffic was at a minimum - got lucky that way.

It was Aidan and Ella's month; no doubt. They celebrated their second year! Once with their play class friends and even bigger partying on Thanksgiving. Dan and I were really happy that we could stay with Nana and Papa while A&E were able to see and have fun with all their cousins, too. Janea was especially generous playing with them and keeping them out of trouble. Natalie and Joshua (+ Mike and Lisa) gave them the cute little outfits they were wearing for their B-day.

Nana had these little cakes made - adorable! Notice Ella eating cake while holding her pointed toe...! =)

THE CAKE HAT - it's our tradition!

Beautiful Janea and Aidan
My, my, how they grow and now they have begun to clown around together! We may have to take this show on the road - Coming to a bigtop near you!

Happy Birthday A&E! You are 2 years old!
