It's a breezy 90 degrees in New Orleans. No sweat; I'm enjoying it. And I enjoyed dinner last night and lunch this afternoon with our wonderful and lovely cousin Leslie Cordell. She's one of Dan's many relatives living and working in Louisiana. She is so gracious and fun. We asked a passerby to snap this picture of us in front of FEAST. After lunch she was on her way to Lafayette. I went on to tour more pre-schools, check up on our new apartment and prep for the move.
Incidentally, it turns out I have a cousin in Louisiana as well. My father's sister Elizabeth's "Betty's" son Bob has a grown son here named Alex Leigh. Does that make him my second cousin? I think so. Looking forward to meeting him when we are settled in.
