This playhouse came as an early birthday present to Aidan and Ella. These days they are looking for things to climb on and explore. They are developing their imaginary play ideas and testing their limits. Grandpa Fred thought it would be a good idea to send his birthday gift now so, A&E could use it this summer which is grand! Despite its size it only took Dan 2.5 hrs to put the house together and he placed it in the shade under the dogwood tree.
In the video maybe you can hear some of A&E's new vocabulary (water, telephone, slide) and see some sign language. Dan brought out the sprinkler and we discovered Aidan loves playing in the sprinklers! You can hear his devilish laugh! Ella looks startled but she makes the sign for "more" (or in Spanish "mas") after getting wet so, she's game. Last weekend we bought a wading pool and a fountain mat that attaches to the hose and creates little plumes of water A&E can run through. We placed these things around the playhouse for a total playground experience.
Grandpa Fred, thanks so much for this wonderful playhouse! It really works well and Aidan and Ella love it!!
