Ella and Aidan enjoy "art". Drawing, gluing, finger painting, pasting, sprinkling dust or glitter, using markers or dots - multimedia work is their specialty. They enjoy these activities in play class very much. One day, I arrived to pick them up and although Ella was happy to see me she wanted to stay at class to do more art activities. I'm so happy about this. I love to see what they have made. I keep everything...hahaha...I'm practically pathological that way. I have their first drawings in the kitchen. Ella made a lovely painted butterfly now on the wall in their room. They made some jelly fish out of paper plates and ribbons that are decorating their classroom - can't wait to receive those. For father's day they painted ties and pasted them on cards that looked like shirts with a poem inside which Dan genuinely appreciated. Art has become part of their world and that warms my heart. Here's a video of A&E making art at home last weekend when the power went out. Sometimes it's hard to restrict your creative instincts to the paper and not your mouth or nose....these are washable markers by the way and I may sound serious but I'm laughing on the inside.
