Dan was under the weather this weekend. He didn't feel like doing much of anything - but I was able to rouse him when Aidan, Ella and I came home with a baby pool and pool toys. Dan filmed the videos while we played in the pool. What fun! I don't know why we didn't think of it earlier. I've been thinking I would take the kids to the local pool but honestly was too shy to bare my post pregnancy navel. I've almost lost all the weight ....almost! :) Sunday was the day and we had fun in our front yard. Ella had just woken up from a nap so she was a little sleepy at first. Aidan was very excited and jumped into the water over and over - he was surprisingly fearless - splashing and then standing up in the pool looking around the yard. I was impressed and really enjoyed it, too. We played with the sun on our backs and the breeze in our hair. They are so much fun. After swimming we dried them off, gave them some lunch and they fell asleep on the living room floor contented.
