County Fair

Dan and I were looking for something to do this afternoon. We were looking for a relaxing new experience that would stimulate the children's senses and entertain Dan and I, too. It was about 2:00 when Dan remembered the County Fair. Perfect! We'll show Ella and Aidan the animals and look around at what ever else we can see. I probably should have taken more pictures of the award winning vegetables in the Agriculture tent - there were some HUGE guinea beans (radioactive size) and the cutest little ducklings in the Livestock tent along with beautiful cows, chickens, sheep and goats. It was hard to say if Aidan and Ella enjoyed seeing the animals. I think it was too hot and all they could do was grog-ily...if that's a word... grogilly sip on their bottles while gazing around the tents. I won a stuffed teddy bear for Aidan at the balloon race booth! We stayed away from the crazy rides and the funnel cakes and ended our day by visiting the frontier exhibit where Dan and Aidan checked out the muskets while we listened to a little blue grass music.

Wow; look at that John Deere!
