Early Mother's Day

Nana and Papa are back; Yay! They made the trip for their nephew Roger's change of command ceremony at Patuxent naval base and then a week with the Virginia twins! Maryu is away on vacation this week and we appreciate Nana and Papa's visit to help us in taking care of the twins while she is away.

On Sunday, we celebrated an early Mother's day together. It was a rainy afternoon. We took everyone to the Boar's Head Inn (A favorite place) and Papa treated us to a delicious brunch. This was their first visit to the Inn; they enjoyed the ambience, the food and especially the creme brule. You have to watch your plate though. If you so much as glance away from your food the staff will zoom by and wisk off with your plate. That happened to Papa a few times. After brunch, we tulled around the pond to see the dogwoods and the willow tree while walking off the hollandaise. We didn't get very far without the off road stroller, but we could still enjoy the view.
