Yay!!!!!

I'm so excited to tell you, I'm almost in tears, that we have been released from our contract with A&E's current school. We are now free to switch to the new school of our choice.  The new school is such a good school, such a happy place, with beautiful light, pretty places to play, parents visit and participate, and the curriculum instructs children with creative thoughtful challenges and caring support to teach them to ask how and why and what if.   The kids have been there for a half day and they like it already.  I want for them to be able to develop strong positive relationships with their teachers while they learn and play.  They have been unhappy and unfulfilled these last couple of months tolerating their situation because we encouraged them to "give it a chance".  It was a learning experience.   It has been a stressful and particularly these last two weeks making our case to the Board.  But we did, and they heard us and we are free to go now to a better school.   We are both so happy and relieved.  I think as A&E settle in to this new school we can all breathe a sigh of relief and begin to take stock in what our next steps will be.
