A&E celebrating Halloween with some playmates.
First
Halloween in NOLA: there were witches on horseback, riding
through our neighborhood tossing candy, families sitting on their porches handing out treats, and we met a live, six month
old vulture named Jude who let the kids pet her. Not to mention the
candy haul.

As soon as Aidan saw that Fire Chief costume he changed his mind about
the blue Morpho butterfly idea. He wanted Ella to be a fireman,
too. She was
content being a ladybug. Dan abandoned the bug idea. I
may have mentioned we were
considering an insect family theme - ladybug, morpho butterfly,
...momma butterfly and Dan (this was his idea) would be a flying
cockroach. (it's okay if you laugh!) But in the end that was a lot of
work so, I wore a butterfly mask and he wore some very snazzy pumpkin
bling.
