Ella and Aidan had their one year pediatric visit today. They are doing very well and are ahead of the curve in areas of words/speech and walking. Ella weighs 22lbs and is 2.5 feet tall. Aidan weighs 23lbs and 2.67 feet tall. They received several vaccinations at this visit and that was no fun. Although the nurses were quick A&E received 5 shots total each and that is a lot for anyone to take. They were pretty upset for a little while.
We also learned that they can start drinking whole milk and fluoridated water. We will begin to ease away from formula and give them more solid foods. They eat well and experiment now with using a spoon. I heard Ella say "Aida nigh-nigh" last night as I was getting them ready for bed. That's two words strung together; very good for a one year old.
