Now is a good time to mention that Aidan and Ella have bi-coastal grandparents. Grandpa Fred who lives on the west coast in California and Grandma and Grandpa James who live in Florida. Grandma and Grandpa James came to Virginia before Christmas to visit for 10 days and help out when the twins were about three weeks old. We hadn't started the blog then, so we didn't get their pictures up until now. They were here helping us catch our breath as new parents. Dan was on service that week and could barely keep his eyes open when he got home. They rallied with home cooked meals, errand running, dog walking, baby rocking and feeding, diaper changing, you name it they helped with it - they were awesome. Grandma James turned us on to the recent BBC video production of Dickens 'Bleak House'. Dan slept through half of it, and even so he thought it was well done.
